If you are a first time parent then you may have wanted to take your baby to the pool, Lake, or Ocean. If you did this then you likely experienced something that many first time parents experience; the ten pound diaper! Diapers are made to be very absorbent, in fact they have a special solution in them that can absorb A LOT of water. The only problem is that when a baby goes into a pool, or body of water all of that water will be absorbed by the solution. This causes the diaper to become swollen and soggy.
If you want to prevent this from happening then you will need to find the appropriate diaper. There are a number of products available from some of the leading baby diaper manufacturers. These diapers are designed specifically for babies that are going to be in the water. They will not swell up and become heavy like other diapers.
The first product we will discuss is the Huggies Little Swimmers diapers. These are designed for babies to wear when they will be in the water. There is a special material used for the shell, and another special compound used that will protect the baby from leakage, but will not absorb water.
The next popular product is Pampers Splashers. These are similar to the Huggies little Swimmers in that they are designed for babies in the water. A number of people have written positive reviews about these swim pants, according to the reviews they work great, do not leak and do not get heavy. The only downside is that the parents can not tell if the baby has gone to the bathroom or not.
